SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds, increasing to 4-14, in the open sea just in places up to 18, North Adriatic up to 20 knots, at the end of theday and in the night turning to SW. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in places along the coast of the South Adriatic variably cloudy, while at the end of the day in the North Adriatic and in a part of the Central Adriatic cloud increase is to be expected, later local rain and a risk of a showers with thunder.

Light to moderate, locally up to fresh SE winds, turning to NW, arround midday in the North Adriatic gradually diminishing. Sea smooth to slight. Fine or fair, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy, locally rain and a risk of a thunder shower.
