WARNING
LATE IN THE DAY AND DURING THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF SE, IN THE OPEN BEFORE THE MORNING, THEN ALONG THE COAST AS WELL, OF NW WINDS, 35-45 KNOTS. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY LATE IN THE DAY AND DURING THE NIGHT.
SYNOPSIS
A trough with frontal system is approaching from the west and it will shift rapidly across the Adriatic during the night and tomorrow.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds gradually strengthening to 8-18, during the night to 12-26 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3, during the night to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Cloud increase with scattered rain, firstly in the open sea, then along the coast as well. A risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly late in the day and during the night.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Moderate to strong SE winds will turn in the open before the morning and along the coast later on, to strong NW. Sea slight and moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
