SYNOPSIS

A field of a little lowered air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a ridge of high pressure is expected to intensify.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SW and NW winds 6-16, in the South Adriatic SW and SE, 12-24, gradually easing and turning toward midday to NW 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic still 3-4 in the first part of the day. Visibility 10-20, only in places reduced to around 6 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of brief isolated rain showers and thunder, but partial clearing is expected in the afternoon.
