WARNING
STILL A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC TODAY. IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC TOWARD THE END OF THE DAY AND DURING THE NIGHT, IN THE CENTRAL FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, THEN IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC AS WELL, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45, IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT BRIEFLY UP TO 60 KNOTS.
SYNOPSIS
A shallow trough with frontal disturbance is shifting partly across the North Adriatic further southeastwards, while a ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the north.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
Calm or SE and SW winds 4-12, in the Velebit Channel NE 8-18, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic during the night NW 6-16 knots. Toward the end of the day and during the night in the North, late in the night in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, NE winds strengthening to 12-22, in the northern part up to 32 knots. Sea 1-2, in the Velebit Channel and during the night in the rest of the Adriatic, increasing to 2-3, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic today, still reduced in places to 2-4 km due to mist. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder. Mostly clear in the rest of the Adriatic.

Mostly clear, but in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first, still variably cloudy with a little rain. Moderate to strong, in the northern part during the night up to near gale force NE winds, spreading from the North and a part of the Central to the rest of the Adriatic. In the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic at first still up to moderate NW winds. Sea slight, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate.
