A ridge of high pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In places along the coast this morning still NE winds 4-10, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 24, and in the open sea NW winds 4-10, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 14 knots. From midday NW, along the coast SW winds as well, and in the open sea of the North Adriatic SE 4-14 knots. Sea mainly 1-2, only locally up to 3, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 4 at first. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear.

Mostly clear. Mainly calm or light NW and NE, in the open sea of the North Adriatic light, only locally up to moderate SE winds. Sea smooth, in the open of the North Adriatic possibly up to slight.
