LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS STRENGTHENING TO 35-45 KNOTS AND TURNING IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT TO SW. SEA POSSIBLY UP TO 5 DURING THE NIGHT AND IN THE MORNING. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED IN THE NORTH, DURING THE NIGHT IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC.
SYNOPSIS
A deep low from western and central Europe is extending a trough toward the central Mediterranean and the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds 12-24, strengthening to 14-28, in the North and Central Adriatic up to 32, turning in the North and Central Adriatic to SW up to 26 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4, in the North and Central Adriatic during the night possibly up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North and in a part of the Central, during the night in the rest of the Adriatic, variably and mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder in places.

Moderate to near gale force SE winds easing a little and turning to SW, in the North Adriatic up to strong in places. Sea slight and moderate. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder in places.
