A ridge of high is spreading from the west over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NORTH ADRIATIC: NE and NW winds 5-15 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility more than 20 km. Mostly clear. CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC: NE and NW winds 12-24 knots, diminishing in the evening and at night to 6-16 knots, except in the extreme south of the Adriatic. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4, locally in the extreme south of the Adriatic and in the Strait of Otranto 5. Visibility more than 20 km. Mostly clear, initially in the extreme south of the Adriatic variably cloudy.
