A trough with frontal system will be shifting slowly across the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW and W, west of Istria SW winds as well, 10-20, late in the day and in the first part of the night west of Istria SW winds up to 26 knots. Along the coast of the South Adriatic at first still SE winds 4-14 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing locally in the open to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North and Central Adriatic variably cloudy in places, with a risk of scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly during the night. In the South Adriatic still mostly clear.
