A trough with frontal system is shifting slowly across the Adriatic, while a ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 12-26 knots. In the North, during the night in the Central Adriatic as well, NE winds 12-26 knots. Sea 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, then in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic gradual clearing.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear, but in the South Adriatic at first still scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Moderate to strong NE, locally in the open NW winds. North and west of Istria light NE winds. Sea slight and moderate.
