IN THE NORTH AND IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC DURING THE FORENOON STILL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 45 KNOTS. A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE COAST OF THE SOUTH AND OF A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AROUND MIDDAY AND IN THE AFTERNOON.SYNOPSIS
A field of a little raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NE winds 6-16, in the North and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 20, and in the Velebit Channel up to 24 knots, easing slowly toward midday and turning later on the to NW 4-14, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 18 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic and in the Velebit Channel at first, 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but becoming variably cloudy along the coast of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic around midday and in the afternoon, giving a chance for isolated rain showers and thunder.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Light to moderate NW winds, in the South and Central Adriatic up to fresh, gradually easing during the night and turning along the coast to light to moderate NE. Sea smooth or slight. Mostly clear, but along the coast of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic at first still variably cloudy with a chance for isolated rain showers with thunder.
