SYNOPSIS

A field of raised air pressure over the Adriatic is gradually weakening, while a trough with cold front is slowly approaching from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 4-14, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon up to 18 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 20 km. Sunny and hot with moderate cloudiness in places in the afternoon, along the coast of the North Adriatic with a little risk of brief isolated rain showers and thunder.

Light to moderate NW winds, turning along the coast to light NE, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate, in the Velebit Channel and in the Bay of Kvarner in the second part of the night up to strong. Sea smooth or slight. Mostly clear with moderate cloudiness in places.
