SYNOPSIS

A low over the Ligurian Sea is deepening and it is extending a trough with frontal system toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the Central and South Adriatic SE winds 4-14, gradually strengthening in the second part of the night to 10-20 knots. In the North Adriatic SE, west of Istria SW winds, 8-18, in places up to 24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North Adriatic possibly 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy, in the North and Central Adriatic with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, in the North Adriatic possibly even heavier. In the South Adriatic still mostly clear today.
