A ridge of high pressure is gradually strengthening toward the Adriatic from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 4-12, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 16, gradually easing toward midday and turning later on to NW 4-14, in the open of the South Adriatic up to 18, and in the North Adriatic to SE 4-12, toward the open sea up to 16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Only in places still variably cloudy with a chance of rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the North Adriatic.
