SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 4-10, in the South Adriatic at first up to 15, turning to SE 4-10, in the North and in the open of the Central Adriatic up to 15 knots. Sea 1-2, only locally up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. Gradual cloud increase with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder in the North Adriatic, mainly in the extreme north toward the end of the day.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly tomorrow. Elsewhere fair. Light to moderate, tomorrow morning in places up to fresh SE winds. Sea smooth or slight.
