SYNOPSIS

A shallow low over the Ligurian Sea is extending a trough with frontal disturbance toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 10-20, gradually turning in the North Adriatic from midday to NE 12-24, briefly up to 28 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing in the North Adriatic toward the end of the day to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North and in a part of the Central, toward the end of the day and during the night in the rest of the Adriatic as well, mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder. In the North Adriatic from midday a chance of more abundant precipitation.
