SYNOPSIS

A shallow low over the Ligurian Sea is extending a trough with frontal disturbance toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North, in the second part of the night in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, NE winds 12-24 knots. In the rest of the Adriatic SE winds 10-18 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing in the North Adriatic toward the end of the day to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places less than 10 km due to rain. Variably or mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder in the North, till the end of the day in the Central Adriatic as well. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic a risk of more abundant precipitation.

Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong NE winds, easing in the morning. Elsewhere moderate to fresh SE winds. Sea slight, in the North Adriatic up to moderate at first. A little cooler.
