A shallow low over the Adriatic will be filling up slowly.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic NE winds 12-24, in the Velebit Channel up to 28, easing to 4-12 and turning to SE, strengthening in the afternoon to 6-16, in the Bay of Kvarnerić up to 20 knots. In the rest of the Adriatic SE winds 12-26, easing to 10-20 knots. Sea 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, possibly heavier, particularly during the forenoon.

In the South Adriatic cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, possibly with more abundant precipitation. Elsewhere variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Light to fresh, in places of the South Adriatic up to strong SE, in the open sea SW winds.
