IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF SE and SW WINDS 35-40, IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC OF NE 35-45, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 50 KNOTS. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

A field of raised air pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 10-20, in places of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to 25 knots, easing till the end of the day. Sea 2-3, in the North Adriatic in the evening 3-4. Visibility 20, in the North Adriatic 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but moderate cloud increase is expected. In the North Adriatic cloudy with scattered rain and isolated rain showers with thunder.

In the North Adriatic moderate to strong NE, elsewhere light to moderate SE winds. Sea smooth or slight, locally in the North Adriatic up to moderate. In the North Adriatic cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, in places possibly with more abundant precipitation. Rain is possible in a part of the Central Adriatic as well. In the rest of the Adriatic mostly clear. In the North Adriatic air temperatures lower, elsewhere with no significant change.
