A trough with cold front is approaching the Adriatic from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or SE and SW winds 4-12 knots. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the evening NE and N winds 14-28 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing in the evening to 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places in the morning around 5 km due to mist. Gradual cloud increase with a little risk of a little rain or brief isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the North Adriatic in the afternoon and in a part of the Central in the evening.

Moderate to near gale force NE and N winds spreading all along the Adriatic and easing in the North Adriatic in the second part of the night. Sea slight, locally in the open increasing up to moderate. Cloudy with a risk of a little rain or brief isolated rain showers. Clearing is expected in the North Adriatic.
