IN THE OPEN OF THE SOUTH AND OF A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC SEA UP TO 5 TOMORROW. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.SYNOPSIS
A trough with cold front is approaching from the north and it will be shifting across the Adriatic during the night.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
Mainly SE and SW winds 4-12 knots. In the North Adriatic toward the end of the day and in the Central later on, winds turning to NE and N 14-28, in places up to 34, and in the Velebit Channel up to 38 knots. Sea gradually increasing to 2-3, in the North and Central Adriatic during the night to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Gradual heavier cloud increase, bringing a little rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, firstly in the North, during the night in the rest of the Adriatic.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Strong and near gale force, in places up to gale force NE and N winds, spreading to the South Adriatic as well and dying away in the North Adriatic in the morning. Sea slight and moderate, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic possibly up to rough. Gradual clearing. In the southern part of the Adriatic during the night still scattered rain and isolated rain showers with thunder. Air temperatures will drop.
