A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 10-20, only in places up to 24, easing around midday to 6-16, but strengthening again in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic late in the day to 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the morning 3-4, mainly in the open, and calming in the North Adriatic toward the end of the day to 1-2. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, in places fine or fair.
