A field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a deep trough with frontal system is approaching from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly SE and SW, in the extreme south of the Adriatic NE winds, 5-15 knots. During the night all along the Adriatic SE winds 5-15, gradually strengthening to 10-20 knots. Visibility 10-20 km. Clear skies, but gradual cloud increase and scattered rain expected in the North Adriatic in the evening and during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to fresh, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the morning up to strong SE winds. Sea smooth or slight, increasing in the morning to slight and moderate. Fair or mainly cloudy with scattered rain in the North Adriatic.
