A ridge of high pressure is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the west.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NE and N winds 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic 12-24, in places of the southern part up to 28 knots, easing slowly in the afternoon. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic 3-4, in the extreme south possibly up to 5, gradually calming during the day. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear. In places of the South Adriatic at first still variably cloudy with a risk of scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the extreme south.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Light to moderate, only in the South Adriatic still up to fresh NE and N winds, gradually easing, and in the North Adriatic turning to light to moderate SE and SW winds. Sea 2-3, only in the open of the South Adriatic at first still 3-4. Fair in places.
