SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and N winds 6-16, in the South, at first in a part of the Central Adriatic, 12-24, easing gradually toward the end of the day and turning in the North Adriatic to SE and SW 4-14 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic 3-4, gradually calming. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear and a little warmer with some variable cloudiness during the night and in the morning.

Wind gradually turning to light to moderate SE and SW. In the South and Central Adriatic during the night still light to moderate, in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first up to fresh, NE and N winds. Sea smooth or slight. Fair in places.
