A low over the Adriatic will be shifting eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds 10-20, locally in the open sea up to 24, and in the rest of the Adriatic S and SW winds 18-36, in places up to 40 knots. In the second part of the day NW winds 6-16, only locally in the open sea up to 22, and in the South Adriatic SW winds gradually easing to 12-24 knots. Sea 3-4, in the South and Central Adriatic 4-5, calming toward the end of the day. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.

Moderate, only locally in the open sea up to strong NW, and in the South Adriatic moderate to strong SW winds will gradually ease during the night. In the extreme north of the Adriatic moderate to fresh NE winds. Sea slight, toward the open sea and in the South Adriatic up to moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
