A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE SOUTH AND NORTH ADRIATIC. IN THE NORTH, DURING THE NIGHT IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AS WELL, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-50, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 65 KNOTS. SEA POSSIBLY UP TO 5 IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC TOMORROW.
SYNOPSIS
A ridge of high pressure is expected to intensify over the Adriatic from the northwest.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
In the North Adriatic NE winds gradually strengthening to 10-20, in the Velebit Channel up to 26 knots. Elsewhere NW, in the south of the Adriatic SW winds, 10-20 knots, easing later on. Sea 2-3, in the south of the Adriatic at first 3-4, gradually strengthening in the North Adriatic to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the South and North Adriatic.

NE winds strengthening to light to moderate, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic to moderate and near gale force, in the Velebit Channel tomorrow up to gale force. Sea smooth or slight, in the north of the Adriatic slight and moderate, tomorrow possibly up to rough.
