A ridge of high pressure is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the west, while a field of low pressure is deepening over the central Mediterranean.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NE and E, in the South Adriatic SE and SW winds, 6-16 knots. In the North Adriatic toward the end of the day and in a part of the Central later on, NE winds strengthening to 14-28, in the Velebit Channel up to 34 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the evening to 3-4. Variably cloudy and rather cold with a risk of a little rain or a shower with thunder in places.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Moderate to strong, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic near gale and gale force NE, and in the southern part of the Adriatic light to moderate, mainly E and NE winds.
