SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds 6-12 knots. Elsewhere NE and NW winds 8-16, toward the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 12-22 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear with moderate cloud increase in places. No significant change in air temperatures.

Mostly clear. Along the coast light to moderate NE, toward the open sea light, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate NW winds and sea slight, elsewhere smooth.
