SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal system is slowly shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards, while a new one is approaching from the northwest.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic W and NW winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel at first still NE up to 20, turning during the night to S and SW 10-20, in the North Adriatic from the middle of the night up to 26 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic S and SW winds 10-20, in the South Adriatic today still up to 26, turning in a part of the Central, from the middle of the night in the South Adriatic as well, to NW 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with rain, showers and thunder in places, particularly in the South Adriatic.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to fresh, in places of the North Adriatic up to strong S and SW winds. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to fresh W and NW winds, turning again in the morning to S and SW. Sea smooth or slight, in the North, during the night in the South Adriatic as well, up to moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the North Adriatic in the morning.
