A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and N winds 12-24, toward the open sea of the Central and South Adriatic 20-30 knots. West of Istria N and NW winds 8-16 knots. Sea along the west Istrian coast 2-3, elsewhere toward the open 3-4, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 4-5. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear.

Moderate to strong NE and N winds. Along the west Istrian coast light NW winds and sea smooth, elsewhere slight and moderate. Mostly clear. No significant change in air temperatures.
