A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic mainly NW winds 6-14 knots. In the rest of the Adriatic NE and N winds 12-22, in places at first still up to 26, easing and turning gradually in the evening to NW 6-16, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to 20 knots. Sea 3-4, in the North Adriatic 2-3, and in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic at first still up to 5, calming later on. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear.

Moderate, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic up to fresh NW winds. In the North Adriatic calm or light variable winds.
