LOCAL GUSTS OF SE, THEN OF NW, AND ALONG THE COAST OF THE NORTH ADRIATIC BRIEFLY OF NE WINDS, 35-45 KNOTS. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY IN THE SECOND PART OF THE DAY.
SYNOPSIS
A low will be shifting from the Ligurian Sea across the Adriatic eastwards.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds strengthening to 12-24, in places up to 28 knots. In the North Adriatic from midday, in the Central late in the day and during the night, winds turning to NW 12-24, briefly up to 28 knots, only in places along the coast of the North Adriatic briefly to NE winds. Sea increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places of the North Adriatic during the forenoon reduced to around 5 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder, particularly in the second part of the day.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Moderate to strong, briefly up to near gale force NW, and along the coast of the North Adriatic NE winds. In the South Adriatic moderate to strong, in places up to near gale force SE winds, gradually turning to SW, then to NW. Sea slight and moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.
