A trough with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the west, while a field of high pressure over the Adriatic will gradually weaken.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds 15-25, in places along the coast and toward the open sea 25-35, easing in the North Adriatic till the end of the day and turning to SW winds 8-16 knots. Sea 3-4, in the Bay of Kvarneriæ and toward the open 4-5, gradually calming in the North Adriatic toward the end of the day. Visibility 5-15 km due to mist, in places of the North Adriatic possibly less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the open sea. Variably cloudy with light scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, firstly in the North, toward the end of the day in a part of the Central Adriatic as well.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Even more abundant precipitation is possible in places. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate NW, elsewhere moderate to strong SE winds. Sea slight and moderate. Mist in places. Air temperatures a little lower.
