SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressures is extending from the north toward the Adriatic, while a low over the western Mediterranean is deepening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly E and NE winds 5-10, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 15 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility above 20, during the night 10-20 km. Mainly fair, but heavier cloud increase is expected in the open sea during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate SE and E, in the North Adriatic NE winds, strengthening in places tomorrow morning to fresh, and in the open of the North and Central Adriatic till midday SE winds up to strong. Sea smooth or slight, locally till midday up to moderate. Cloud increase, bringing rain in places, mainly in the open sea and on islands.
