LOCAL GUSTS OF SE and E, IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC OF NE WINDS, STRENGTHENING TO 35-60 KNOTS. SEA LOCALLY UP TO 5 LATE IN THE DAY. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.
SYNOPSIS
A low with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the western Mediterranean.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE and E, in places of the North Adriatic NE winds, 8-18, strengthening to 15-30 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4, in the open possibly up to 5 late in the day. Visibility 10-20 km. Heavier cloud increase, bringing rain later on, in places even isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the North and Central Adriatic.

Mainly cloudy with rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. SE and E winds strengthening to strong and gale force, and in the North Adriatic strong and near gale force NE winds, mainly in the northern part and along the coast. Sea slight and moderate, in the open up to rough.
