A field of raised air pressure lies north of the Adriatic and a low over the Ionian Sea is deepening and expected to shift eastwards tomorrow.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NE winds gradually strengthening to 10-20, in the afternoon to 14-28, in places during the night up to 34, in the Velebit Channel during the forenoon to 14-28, toward the end of the day to 18-34, in places up to 38 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3, in the afternoon to 3-4, and locally in the open in the evening up to 5. Visibility 10-20, but in the open of the North Adriatic at first possibly reduced to less than 1 km due to fog. In the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic partly clear, in places variably cloudy with a risk of a little rain, mainly in the open sea, while cloud increase is expected more to the south, bringing rain and a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder from midday.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
