WARNING
IN THE AFTERNOON AND DURING THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF SE, IN THE NORTH, DURING THE NIGHT IN THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AS WELL, OF NE and NW WINDS, STRENGTHENING TO 35-45, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 70 KNOTS. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY THROUGH THE NIGHT.
SYNOPSIS
A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds 4-12, strengthening to 12-26 knots and turning to NE in the North, late in the day in a part of the Central Adriatic as well. Sea 1-2, increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder in the North and with a little risk of rain, showers and thunder in the rest of the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, along the coast of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic with a risk of sleet and snow. In the North Adriatic moderate to near gale force, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force NE winds. Elsewhere moderate to strong SE, turning in the Central Adriatic to NE and NW winds. Sea slight and moderate.
