A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW winds, turning to SE 4-8 knots. In the North Adriatic this morning still NE winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel up to 22 knots. Sea 1-2, locally in the North Adriatic this morning still 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Gradual cloud increase, bringing rain in places of the North Adriatic late in the day.

Mainly cloudy with rain, spreading from the North to the Central Adriatic. SE winds strengthening to light to fresh, and in places along the coast light to moderate E and NE winds. Sea slight.
