A shallow field of low pressure lies over the Mediterranean and a field of high pressure more to the north of the Adriatic.

NE, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic E and SE winds, strengthening to 14-28, in places up to 32, in the North Adriatic up to 36, and in the Velebit Channel up to 44 knots. Sea 3-4, toward the open and in the Velebit Channel increasing up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with rain, along the coast of the North Adriatic with snow. A risk of isolated rain showers with thunder, particularly in the open sea.
