SYNOPSIS

A low over the South Adriatic will be filling up, while a ridge of high pressure is extending from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 16-34, in the Velebit Channel up to 40 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 14-28, easing to 10-20 knots and turning in the open sea to NW. Sea 3-4, in the open 4-5, and in the open of the North Adriatic possibly up to 6 today. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast and very cold with snow in places, in the south of the Adriatic with rain as well.
