SYNOPSIS

A low over western Europe and the Mediterranean is extending a trough with frontal system toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic mainly SE and SW, in the open sea, in the evening along the coast as well, NW winds, 8-18 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE winds 15-25, in the South Adriatic up to 35 knots at first. Sea 2-3, in the open and in the South Adriatic 3-4, and locally in the open of the South Adriatic up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast and a little warmer, with rain in places, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder.
