ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TOWARD THE END OF THE DAY AND DURING THE NIGHT. IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC STILL A LITTLE RISK OF FOG THIS MORNING.SYNOPSIS
A low over the Adriatic is deepening and it will shift tomorrow further eastwards, while a field of low pressure still lies over the Mediterranean.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
In the morning calm or NW winds 4-14, in the extreme south up to 20, then SE winds rapidly strengthening to 10-20, in the South and Central Adriatic toward the end of the day up to 28 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South, in the afternoon in the rest of the Adriatic, 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places around 4 km due to mist, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the morning possibly less than 1 km due to fog. Variably cloudy and rather warm with rain in places, toward the end of the day with isolated rain showers and thunder.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Moderate to strong, in places up to near gale force SE winds, turning firstly in the North Adriatic to NE and NW, in the Central and South Adriatic in the second part of the night to NW and W winds. Sea slight and moderate. Overcast with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
