STILL A RISK OF FOG PATCHES THIS MORNING, MAINLY IN THE EXTREME NORTH OF THE ADRIATIC. A RISK OF GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TOWARD MORNING.SYNOPSIS
A ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with frontal disturbance is expected to approach from the west.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds strengthening gradually to 10-20 knots. West and north of Istria SE and S winds strengthening to 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places around 4 km due to mist, or possibly even less than 1 km due to fog, mainly this morning. In the North Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain in the wider area of Rijeka, toward the end of the day and during the night elsewhere as well. In the Central and South Adriatic mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase is expected from midday.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Variably cloudy with scattered rain in the North, tomorrow in the rest of the Adriatic as well. Moderate to fresh, from the middle of the night toward morning up to strong SE winds. Sea slight, increasing to moderate tomorrow toward morning.
