A ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with frontal disturbance is approaching from the west.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds gradually strengthening to 10-20, west and north of Istria to 6-16 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly less than 1 km due fog, mainly in the extreme north of the Adriatic during the night. Gradual cloud increase with scattered rain in the North Adriatic.WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
SE winds further strengthening to fresh and strong and sea increasing to slight and moderate. In the extreme north of the Adriatic during the night still a little risk of fog patches. Variably cloudy with rain in places, mainly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
