SYNOPSIS
A trough with frontal disturbance has approached the Adriatic from the northwest.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds 12-24, strengthening to 18-34 knots. Sea 3-4, increasing to 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, late in the day with isolated rain showers and thunder.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Overcast with rain, showers and thunder. Strong and gale force SE winds turning to moderate to strong SW, firstly in the North Adriatic, only in the extreme south of the Adriatic still strong and near gale force S and SE winds. Sea moderate and rough, in the North and Central Adriatic calming to slight and moderate.
