SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 10-20, strengthening to 15-30 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4, locally toward the open up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Cloud increase, bringing rain, showers and thunder during the night. The north of the Adriatic could see the rain already during the day.

Overcast with rain, showers and thunder. Moderate to near gale force SE wind will strengthen in the south of the Adriatic to strong and gale force, while it will ease in the rest of the Adriatic and turn to light to moderate SW. Sea moderate and rough, in the North and Central Adriatic calming to smooth and slight. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder.
