SYNOPSIS

The low with frontal system has moved eastwards, but a new trough is expected to approach from the west during the day.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic NE winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel up to 22, strengthening gradually in the afternoon and in the evening to 14-28, in the Velebit Channel up to 36 knots. In the Central and South Adriatic variable winds 4-12, from midday SE strengthening gradually toward the end of the day to 14-26 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South, in the second part of the day in the rest of the Adriatic, 3-4, and in the open of the North Adriatic in the evening up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly in the evening, when snow could be seen along the coast of the North Adriatic.
