IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC LATE IN THE DAY AND DURING THE NIGHT GUSTS OF SW and NW WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. SEA LOCALLY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC STILL UP TO 5 AT FIRST. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

The low centered over the Ligurian Sea will be shifting across the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 14-28, in the Velebit Channel up to 34 knots. In the rest of the Adriatic SE and SW winds 6-16, in places up to 20 knots. Sea 3-4, locally in the North Adriatic at first still up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, along the coast of the North Adriatic with snow.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE winds, easing a little during the night. In the rest of the Adriatic SE and SW winds strengthening a little, firstly in the open sea, and turning to moderate to strong, briefly up to near gale force NW winds. Sea slight and moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, along the coast of the North Adriatic with snow.
