SYNOPSIS
A trough with frontal system will slowly shift across the Adriatic further eastwards.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds 14-28, in places up to 36, in the South Adriatic up to 40 knots, turning around midday, firstly in the North, then gradually in the Central Adriatic, to SW and easing a little. Sea 4-5, increasing in the South Adriatic to 5-6. Visibility 5-15 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Near gale and gale force SE winds, turning gradually in the South Adriatic as well, to SW, and easing slowly. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong SW winds will turn before the morning to NW. Sea moderate and rough, in the South Adriatic up to very rough, calming in the northern part of the Adriatic during the night. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.
