SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is extending toward the Adriatic and it will be weakening slowly tomorrow.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic mainly calm, during the day SW winds 4-8, and in the Velebit Channel during the night NE 6-16 knots. Elsewhere NW winds 6-16, in the extreme south up to 20 knots, gradually dying away. Sea 1-2, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first 2-3, in the extreme south possibly up to 4. Visibility 10-20, but in the North Adriatic possibly less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear. In the North Adriatic a little risk of fog patches during the night and in the morning. Mainly calm, but in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first light to moderate NE winds. During the day light, in the open sea around midday up to moderate SE winds. Sea calm or smooth.
